I know it is a little bit late, being 6 hours later in the NL and with all the Dutchies probably already vast to sleep, but Happy Kings Day to you all anyway.
Our flag is still somewhere in a box, also my orange clothes, so we didn't really celebrate it. But i made some tompoucen. With no HEMA around the corner or no DIY box in the supermarket, i had to make them from scratch.
It was a lot of work, especially i couldn't get all the ingredients. I then used two recipes, one for the crust and one for the 'banketbakkers room'.
Tonight M and I had one for dessert and coffee. They taste almost as good as in NL.
