This blog was about the progress on the home, or maybe I better can say 'the lack of it'.
It turned out to be such a depressing story that we decided to delete most of it.
We just have to sit this one out.
I am so sorry to hear about this continued frustration in getting your home completed. I can only say I understand the frustration because we experienced the same thing, although a different contractor. You always hope that people will just do the right thing.

Oh Eveline, so sorry to hear this. It’s frustrating when things don’t go as you want them to go. And there’s COVID with all the shortages and all that don’t make life easier. There’s this couple in Utah who are rebuilding their house and documenting this on YouTube. I hear similar complaints from them. Hope things look up this week!

Thank you. And yeah that’s what we hear all the time:’ because of COVID there is a shortage on materials and ‘because of COVID and the (generous) compensation package there is a shortage of labor’. But as you may have read the contractor finished the job yesterday. We are still in shock.
