When we lived in The Hague we both had a volunteer job and before that I also was volunteering.

So it was only waiting for a volunteer job that would suit one of us. And when our friend Patty, who is VP at the chamber of commerce (KvK), asked us M stepped right in. It's really nice to meet new people and helping the community. But M also will attent ribbon cuttings when a new business opens it's doors. 

An other thing that we think is really nice is that every now and then one of the businesses organizes an after hour gathering. So you meet other local business owners and can share experiences, etc. This Thursday Patty opens the doors to her B&B The Delicate Flower for after hours.

We are looking forward to our first 'after hours' !!!
