Cleaning up and exploring the property

Because of a jetlag and the long trip we decided to take it easy the first days. Every day we clean 1 or 2 rooms; being unoccupied for so long, the home got a little bit 'ugh'. But also cleaning the outside. It looks like someone came to the house once in a while and left canned food (cat food perhaps?) behind. The food is of course gone but the cans not, so I picked them up today. Also the bushes around the house, touching it even, needed to be removed. So Martijn bought a 'heavy-duty' trimming tool and trimmed a couple of bushes. And it feels really good that we are able to start  with working on our business, finally! Besides cleaning up we also did a bit of exploring today. We saw the many dwellings this property has and although some are in deplorable state, some of the little houses are still standing firm. Furthermore the terrain is full with trees and it makes it very hard to walk over the property this way. We did walk a bit, but had to turn. This week we will go again but then take our trimming machine with us.
