Warmer days

A lot has been going on this week: sheet rockers came and 'almost' finished the job, M was sick for two days probably a heatstroke, webinar yesterday about restoring tabacco barns, having some issues with the dogs, we started with scraping off the old paint from the roof and today we helped Patty and Brad with cutting some trees.

On April 10th one of the biggest yearly events of Clarksville, the Wine Fest is held on their property so it was time to clear some overgrown trees and bushes.

However, we are sure reaching warmer days because today it was over 80F (29 degrees celsius). So it was a bit of a challenge to keep cool especially for M who was in charge of the chainsaw 😊

Oh wow! 80s already!! But I’m not surprised. I’ve seen air from the Gulf or Mexico getting pushed up to your area. They again forecast thunderstorms today and tomorrow. So it’s gonna be warm with high humidity. Maybe that explains Martijn’s issues with the heat. Hope he’s doing well and I hope the dogs can cope with the humidity.

Thanks for the weather update! After 2 days relaxing I was back to my old self..... But yes I noticed the humid heat... I will be prepared for the future :-) Now we are happy that the rooms are still cool, perfect for the dogs. Of course we hope that we can move into our own home soon before it really gets hot... (airco in the new home)

You’re welcome. You know we like to spend time with you and hard work is good for the soul as well. So we’ll do it again for sure. How else are we going to ‘earn’ all the dinners, sweet yummies and furniture you gave us? LOL.
