Vroommmmmm 🛻

Alrighty we had a great weekend. Yesterday we went to Wake Forest NC to look at a 2008 F-150 Ford Truck because we can use one for getting 'stuff' to the house. So we decided upon a white truck because we want to sticker it with our logo and information of the B&B. We took Jessie with us, first went to Henderson NC, picked up our grossery from Walmart that we ordered on line and went straight ahead to Wake Forest. The truck really looked good, decent and M went for a test drive that went great as well. So we decided to buy the truck and before we knew it we drove the truck home. Of course we are so used to waiting at least one week before the car is ready for you as this is the case in the NL, we are still flabbergasted that the truck is parked at the front of our home.

This afternoon we had a great time with Patty and  Brad at their Lake house. Great company, a lot of laughs, wonderful view of the lake, wine and beer, chips and dips, sitting outside. And Patty made sure we got some homemade chocolate and oatmeal cookies  to bring home with us. We feel really blessed that they are our friends.

Hope you also had wonderful weekend and have a great week everyone!!!

Nice!!! So, is it a 4WD? You are now basically ready for any late season winter snow storm I guess! 😊

No a 2WD but with a lot of power (5.4L/V8) so that we can carry a pretty big load:-)

I can imagine that! For our standards your car over here in Holland was already a large one but with this one you can practically carry everything! Congrats!!

Thanks. I already bought a couple of old windows and it was really handy to have the truck:-)
