Perhaps you've stumbled upon, heard whispers of, or read tales of The Sunnyside's storied past as a School for Young Women from 1870 to 1908.

In getting recognition to its heritage, we sought and successfully obtained a Historical Highway Marker for "The Sunny Side School for Young Women". With excitement we announce that this Historical Highway Marker's unveiling is set for Friday, April 26th, 2024, at noon. The ceremony, which will feature speeches from esteemed guests, will be accompanied by a tour of The Sunnyside Sisters Bed and Breakfast.

Join in celebrating Clarksville VA's history and take part in this momentous event.
