Today we started with clearing out the forest behind the main house. We want to make a play area for the dogs, but we also want to create a great view. We know the house is on top of a hill and that at the back the hill descends steeply. So the views must be wonderful as soon as we have removed all the bush and trees.

A lot of work but we think it will be worth it. But as we were bringing all the cut bushes and trees to our wood wall at the Old farm road we saw what looked like a cabin or a house or something white coloured through the trees.  

Because of the season the trees loose their leaves and every day you are able to see more what's in the forest. We decided to find out what excactly we were looking at. And as we came closer we realized that what we saw was a reflection of the sky into a what seems to be a pond.
Wow, there is a (small) pond just behind the main house. With trees around it. Really exciting!!! This also means that, once we clear all the bushes and trees behind the house we will have a straight path that leads directly to the pond. Because we didn't know of its existence we are very excited that it is real and not a Fata Morgana:-)
