Behind the scenes of Sunnyside

One of the reasons we fell in love with the State Virginia and our beautiful home, is that we love its history. When we have some spare time, i go on the internet and try to find as much info of the home and its residents. So when Ann, a descendant of the Carrington family reached out we were very excited. 

Today she and her husband John came to visit. We talked a lot about the family and the home. And Ann even left a couple of family pictures, a remembrance book with a lot of info of the Sunnyside and her family tree. We are so excited that there are people out there that have such a connection with this beautiful home.
